• If your teeth are just a little off-white, our standard take-home bleaching may be just what you need. Not as powerful as other systems, it isn’t as expensive either, and it produces excellent results.
• For very dark teeth or stubborn stains, our deep bleaching may be the best. Over a two-week period, your teeth can be made sixteen shades whiter. Even the most stubborn stains, such as tetracycline stains, respond to this treatment.
• We also have a bleaching pen that you can paint on your teeth at night – a very convenient option.
• For the fastest whitening, Zoom! whitening is what we would recommend. This gives dramatic results in just one appointment.

The Zoom! Whitening Procedure

It’s important to start with an exam. If you have leaky fillings or open cavities, the bleaching gel could irritate your teeth. It’s also best to have your teeth cleaned before starting, because tartar deposits on your teeth will get in the way.

• At your Zoom! whitening appointment, the first step is to isolate your teeth, as you see in the top two photographs. A protective napkin is placed on your face, and a protective gel is painted on your gums. The bleaching gel is rather potent and it can irritate soft tissue.
• Once this is done, we apply the bleaching gel to your teeth. The Zoom! light is focused on your teeth, and the combination of the light, the heat, and the peroxide in the gel whitens your teeth very effectively. You sit under the light for three 20-minute periods in this appointment.

When you’re done, your teeth are bright white and gorgeous!

When your appointment is completed, we give you a set of custom trays for you to follow up at home. You wear the bleaching gel in the trays at night for about two weeks for maximum whitening effect.
