Unique Advantages of the Kör Teeth Whitening System
The Kör system was developed by Dr. Rod Kurthy. He analyzed the chemistry of teeth whitening and has discovered several ways to enhance the effectiveness of the whitening, while not irritating the teeth.
- The Kör system uses a unique tri-barrel delivery system that keeps the components separated from each other until the moment you need them.
- The ingredients are also kept refrigerated so that they won’t degrade. As soon as the bleaching gel comes in contact with your teeth, it warms up and becomes fully activated.
- The bleaching tray is also specially constructed to keep saliva from mixing with the bleaching gel and diluting its effect.

The result is a teeth whitening process that is faster and deeper than any other. It will get your teeth their sparkling whitest. Notice the dramatic results in the photographs on the right. Even stubborn tetracycline stains, which resist all other forms of bleaching, can be whitened with this system.
The Teeth Whitening Process
- We start with an examination and a teeth cleaning. To be done safely, we need to check to make sure you don’t have any open cavities, leaky fillings, or exposed sensitive areas of your teeth, and we want to get the tartar off your teeth, or it will get in the way of treatment.
- Next, we take impressions of your teeth, and from those impressions we make plaster models. On those models, we create custom trays that fit your teeth precisely. This is an important part of the Kör system. The trays have to hold the bleaching gel and have to seal out oral fluids.
- You take the trays home with you, and a Kör triple-barrel syringe filled with the bleaching gel. Then when you go to bed, you use the syringe to put some of the gel in the trays. Since it is automatically freshly mixed by the syringe as you push in the plunger, the gel is fresh and fully active. Go to bed. In the morning, take out the trays and rinse out your mouth. In two weeks, your teeth will be their sparkling whitest.
