Dr. Tom Hedge
Dr. Hedge is from Ohio, where he attended Kenyon College, majoring in biology and chemistry, and then graduated from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. While at dental school, he received several awards for research he conducted, which was then published.
After graduation, he completed a general practice residency at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina, where he received advanced training in anesthesia, emergency medicine, geriatrics, TMJ treatment, oral surgery, orthodontics, dental implants, prosthodontics, periodontics, and endodontics.
He opened up his own dental practice in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. He pursued additional post-graduate training in cosmetic dentistry and TMJ dentistry, graduating from both the LD Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida, and from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, ending up becoming a faculty member at both institutions.
While in Cincinnati, he was selected by ABC TV to be the dentist for Cincinnati’s Extreme Makeover show.
As Dr. Frazar’s partner, he has some strong “best dentist” credentials, also. Our Houston cosmetic dentist came here from the Cincinnati area, and he is also known internationally as the President of the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics, an organization of dentists that promotes excellence in cosmetic dentistry and clinical dentistry.
He has been an instructor at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and has lectured widely to other dentists in other forums. Other dentists are high in their praise of his knowledge and skills, calling him “one of the brilliant minds of dentistry.”
